The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-performing Associate Director to partner with the Director in building a profitable and respected consultancy. This is a rare opportunity for a motivated individual to step into a leadership role with significant influence over the direction, culture, and long-term success of a growing business.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth
- Collaborate with the Director to define and execute business strategy.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities, sectors, and service offerings.
- Support brand development and positioning of INTECH as a leader in the market.
Client Delivery
- Lead and manage client engagements across multiple sectors (e.g., healthcare, energy, transportation).
- Deliver high-quality technical services including lenders’ technical advisory, independent certification, payment certification and project management.
- Build and maintain trusted, long-term client relationships.
Leadership & People
- Help shape the culture and values of the business.
- Support recruitment and development of future team members.
- Provide mentorship and leadership as the team expands.
Operational Excellence
- Contribute to the development of scalable systems and processes for delivery, quality assurance, and financial management.
- Monitor and report on KPIs and commercial performance.
Qualifications and Skills
Required
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a relevant technical discipline (e.g., infrastructure advisory, quantity surveying, engineering, or project management)
- Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, engineering, project management, or a related field
- Full, clean driver’s license and ability to rent a car
- Exposure to commercial real estate or infrastructure transactions
- Familiarity with lenders’ technical advisory work, project finance, or P3 infrastructure projects
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to lead and manage technical engagements
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders
- Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, early-stage environment
Preferred
- Professional designations such as P.Eng., MRICS, or PQS
- Prior experience in a consulting, advisory, or entrepreneurial setting
- Proven track record of business development and relationship management

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Hybrid work environment with in-office presence in Toronto as needed
- Standard business hours with flexibility based on project demands
- Regular travel will be required to attend client meetings, site visits, or industry events
- Work involves attendance at construction sites
- Work involves extended periods at a computer, participation in virtual and in-person meetings, and document preparation
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive base salary commensurate with $120,000-$150,000
- Discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance

Compensation
$120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
