About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Consultant to support a portfolio of clients across sectors. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced consulting environment, and has a strong foundation in HR Generalist functions with a passion for compensation strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to multiple clients, understanding their unique business goals and tailoring HR strategies accordingly
- Provide hands-on support across the full spectrum of HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, compliance and talent acquisition
- Design, evaluate, and implement compensation structures and incentive programs that align with client objectives and market trends
- Conduct compensation benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices
- Interpret HR data and metrics to inform strategic decisions and improve HR effectiveness
- Support compliance with employment legislation and regulations, keeping clients up-to-date on changes
- Foster the development of inclusive, engaging workplace cultures that promote employee well-being and retention
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of progressive HR experience with experience providing consultative HR support to multiple clients or business units
- Solid understanding of employment legislation, human rights, and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to translate business goals into practical, people-focused HR strategies
- Skilled in assessing organizational needs and developing tailored recommendations and solutions
- Exceptional client relationship management and communication skills
- Sound judgment, professionalism, and ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion
- Strong foundation in policy development, employee relations, and performance management
- Effective project management and change management abilities
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and critical reasoning skills
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting to varied client industries and cultures
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing and facilitation
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and client service orientation
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current on HR trends, employment law, and best practices
